Hello, I'm Richard Charles. I have worked in landscaping and decking all my life. Top quality workmanship building bespoke structures requires years of experience, every single job is slightly different. The quality of the materials is also important, you cannot make a long lasting structure without both. Aesthetics, design and how the space is used functionally and ergonomically are next-level considerations that experience can help with, but a natural flair for such things and a real enjoyment of, and pride in, the work helps as well. Although craftmanship and materials are a given for any premium business, punctuality, polite staff, keeping the client up to date regarding start dates or changes to schedules due to the weather or supply factors are also very important to us.
Outside of work I enjoyed gymnastics until my mid fifties and now do Cyr Wheel (Google it) as well as being a keen chess player.
My name is Ebberson Charles. I currently have 15 years experience in landscaping and decking since school as I used to come on site on Saturdays and help my Dad (Richard) from being 14 years old.
We work together now as a father and son team, and I feel that I know the trade inside and out. I also run my own artificial grass company as well so I am also perfecting the additional skills required to run a successful business. My Dad likes to joke that I suffer with BTHD (Better Than His Dad!). My dog, Flo, often accompanies us on site if the client permits it.
Even though we get a lot of physical exercise at work, I enjoy going to the gym most days.
My name is Mark Hudson. I have many years experience in timber and composite decking. While Ebberson and Richard tend to do the more skilled aspects of the job, I provide a third pair of hands when required and perform all the background tasks required to keep the job running smoothly.
I am a vegan and I am really interested in bicycles - I always cycle to and from site.
Hi, I'm Flo the dog.
Flo is Ebberson's mongrel originally from Spain. She does a lot of tricks - usual sit, stay etc but if you make a hoop with your arms she'll jump through it. She plays dead if you make a gun with you fingers and say 'bang' and she will pull a handkerchief out of someone's pocket if you say 'steal it'.
